Services

ADVANCED PEDIATRIC ECHOCARDIOGRAPHY
  • Detailed image analysis of your child’s heart to understand the problem.
  • It offers complete diagnosis in the majority of patients.
  • This test is not harmful to your child. Child may sometimes require mild sedation to keep him/her calm during this test.
TRANSESOPHAGEAL ECHOCARDIOGRAPHY
  • Specialized imaging performed with a small ultrasound probe passed through the food pipe located just behind the heart to obtain high quality images.
  •  It is usually done as a day-care procedure. Young children require sedation for this procedure.
  • You will need to be fasting for 4-6 hours prior to the procedure.
CARDIAC CATHETERIZATION
  • Specialised test to get information directly by entering the heart with a catheter.

  • Usually combined with angiography which shows images of the heart and blood vessels by injecting a contrast medium
ADVANCED FETAL ECHOCARDIOGRAPHY
  • Specialized ultrasound performed on the mother to detect heart problems in the unborn baby. It is similar to the routine scans you have been having throughout your pregnancy.
  • Fetal heart scanning can detect most structural abnormalities of the heart, cardiac function and disturbances in the rhythm of the heart
  • Ideally performed between 18-20 weeks pregnancy, No risk to the mother or fetus
Prenatal diagnosis of heart defect improves survival of the baby
ECG, HOLTER, TREADMILL, PACEMAKER IMPLANTS

  • In some cases these abnormal rhythms can be life threatening
Thorough assessment and appropriate treatment is provided for these problems
